Our Team.  

Neil Hamilton

Managing Director

 

Having worked in the IT industry for both local and multi-national enterprise companies I formed Wavetree to deliver a personal service with an enterprise class of delivery. Here the key focus for me is a happy team who deliver the leading class service to our customers. The relationship between our team and our customers is the most important focus across the business.

 

Away from work, I enjoy being outdoors, either on the water or on the hills on my mountain bike.

During the rugby season I also help manage the Old Patesians Rugby Club based in Cheltenham where my boy plays, most Sundays you can find me by a rugby pitch .

I am a father of 3 and a keen sports fan, playing far less than I should do! After studying Electronic Engineering I turned to the IT industry. I really enjoy technical problem solving with our customers and helping them find the best solutions for their needs through effective Account Management. If I can create some spare time I enjoy some DIY and riding both my road and motorbike.

am a driven, self-organised IT professional who likes to be challenged by new technologies and believes in providing great customer services to a variety of clients. Having worked for many different companies and clients, I believe I understand how to identify business needs and how they can be met through IT, finding solutions to problems within budgets and timeframes.I believe my strongest skill is being able to explain complex technologies and their business benefits to all levels of the business. In my spare time I like to go go-karting or fixing a go-kart, more time is usually spent on the latter!

I am a Technical Consultant, and started my IT career with an apprenticeship in IT Professional Services. Since joining Wavetree in 2018, I’ve been given the opportunity to develop and expand my knowledge whilst also giving me the exposure to being on the road and visiting customers. My main day to day job is to attend client sites and offer support with their IT requirements. Before I entered the world of IT I had a football scholarship and played for my County.

Having spent 7 years working as an IT Manager in South Africa and working with managed IT Service providers I am keenly aware of what the clients requirements are from an MSP. I thrive on building solid relationships and exposing businesses to IT innonvations which will save them money and make them more productive.
Having just moved to the UK with my family, from South Africa, I enjoy spending time exploring this country and learning about the rich history the UK has to offer
